Minutes of previous meetings

The minutes of 07 Feb 2025 have been approved with one abstention.

Actual business

Budget

The Engineering Working Group has spent about 76.500 GBP in 2024 with some invoices from December still pending. The budget for 2025 has been approved, and the working group shall start to plan for details to ensure budget tracking.

EWG help with recruitment for copyright page update

As previously discussed, this call should follow the same format and process as previous calls for bids.

A different project might serve as a template. The working group intendeds to document the process properly (e.g. in README of ewg_bidding) and to duly follow the process.

It is noted that the bid needs to communicate with the Communications Working Group because it shall solve their issue.

Sovereign Tech Fund (STF)

The PC and everyone has a preferred candidate. The board will vote on candidate on next Thursday in the meeting.

Microgrants

Currently, three out of five juror candidates have received a calendar invite for the first round of interviews. Salim plans to conduct initial interviews with potential jurors and the provide feedback about the candidates to the Engineering Working Group.
