EWG Membership applications

Robert has responded to the expressions of interest and updated the EWG wiki page.

The Engineering Working Group creates a working pad for a quick standard answer to future requests.

Refactoring of OSM website notes

We have invited Gregory to this session to present his work on OSM notes. We'll try to re-establish contact using whichever channel works for Gregory.

Microgrants

The preparations for the juror selection process are underway.

Do we want a strict rule that EWG members should be excluded from juror positions? As a minimum, any EWG member applying for a juror position should be excluded from the juror selection process. Mikel has commented accordingly.

Sovereign Tech Fund (STF)

The Sovereign Tech Fund has indicated that it will announce a decision in October or November.

The OpenStreetMap Foundation's Personnel Committee starts to prepare for a positive outcome and is working on a job description for the coordinator and a hiring process.

Google Summer of Code

All projects have successfully finished.

One of the mentors will attend the mentor summit. Google awards money for travel expenses, hence the Foundation shall reimburse him from that funds.
