An [https://github.com/openstreetmap/openstreetmap-website/pull/4481#issuecomment-2616643773 independent attempt] to implement the feature amongst others has been started by a volunteering Microsoft engineer. Gregory subsequently has subsequently decided to stop his work on the branch that got stale for review reasons.
 
The engineeringEngineering Working Group accepts a motion to pay Gregory for the feactoringrefactoring ofwork on the OpenStreetMap website workcode base.
This motion concludes the topic.
 
2 candidates invited to two interviews each, and the interviews are in progress.
