|The board adopts the [https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/w/index.php?title=Etiquette/Etiquette_Guidelines&oldid=2316276 Etiquette Guidelines] proposed by the [[Local_Chapters_and_Communities_Working_Group/Moderation_Subcommittee|LCCWG moderation subcommittee]] for the [https://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk talk]<sup>1</sup> and [https://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/osmf-talk osmf talk]<sup>2</sup> mailing lists. Enforcement will begin as soon as a new moderation team for these lists is affirmed by the board.
The board intends to extend the scope of the Etiquette Guidelines to all international communication channels hosted by the OSM Foundation after informal consultation with the respective communities. Regional communities, and communities on platforms not hosted by the OSM Foundation, are free to choose to use the Etiquette Guidelines for their channels as well.
