How To Get OpenStreetMap Data
OpenStreetMap geodata is free and open. You can obtain it from the following sources for use in your own projects and for making maps.
If you are publishing projects that use unmodified OpenStreetMap data, you may also add a link to this page to satisfy requirements to make the raw data available to users of your project.
This page is new and a full range of primary sources is not yet complete
- Planet Dumps - Here are copies of the entire OpenStreetMap database, updated on a regular basis.
- Extracts and Mirrors - A list of alternative sources, country and regional extracts.
- Overpass API - Allows you to make small extractions according to criteria you provide.
