Annual General Meetings/2024/Personnel committee's report

The Committee is composed of

• Sarah Hoffmann, chair, main point of contact for Dorothea Kazazi
• Mikel Maron, main point of contact for Martin Raifer
• Adam Hoyle, main point of contact for Paul Norman
• Dani Waltersdorfer, main point of contact for Grant Slater
• Craig Allan, secondary contact for Dorothea Kazazi

At the beginning of the year we added Paul Norman to the group of longer term contractors. He is working on adding vector tiles to the main website. The work is overseen mainly by the EWG with Adam joining the PC as his main contact. Guillaume has handed over his duties as main point of contact for Grant to Dani mid-year. The committee thanks Guillaume for his work.

The committee started meeting periodically to look into the practices and challenges of contracting. We have started to work on a set of requirements for hiring new contractors as well as a template contract to use. This work is still ongoing.

We have continued working on improving the communication with our employees and contractors. As last year, we took the time to review the past year with Grant. We have implemented keeping regular minutes for the meetings to ensure continuity when points of contact change. And we are working on documenting the rights and responsibilities for the volunteers that act as point of contact.
